Standing 66.0 inches tall, the X3 has a ground clearance of 8 inches – allowing it to confidently tackle off-road terrain when needed. Standard wheels measure 19 inches in diameter, with options up to 21 inches from the BMW factory.

One unique feature is the available Sky Lounge Panoramic Roof. The power liftgate at the rear offers hands-free opening and closing functionality. The X3 also employs front and rear parking sensors that alert you if you’re getting too close to objects.

Visually, both trims ride on beautiful 19-inch V-spoke bi-color wheels. The exterior also gets body-colored heated power side mirrors with auto-dimming, power folding, and integrated turn signals. Perimeter/approach lights are also standard.

Inside, you’re treated to a 10.25-inch digital instrument display behind the steering wheel, with a 10.7-inch central touchscreen. A 12-speaker audio system immerses passengers in clear, dynamic sound. Comfort amenities include synthetic leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped Sport steering wheel. Dual-zone automatic climate control enables personalized heating and cooling zones.

Next, a garage door transmitter integrates with your compatible garage door opener so you can remotely open the door from inside the X3. Finally, LED Brake Lights provide faster illumination than traditional bulbs and are highly durable.

For those seeking maximum performance from the 2024 X3 lineup, there’s the M40i model. The AWD-only M40i adds an adaptive M suspension system for improved handling and ride quality at all speeds. An available electronically controlled M Sport limited-slip differential also enhances traction and control through tight corners.

On the outside, the M40i features a slightly lowered chassis that improves aerodynamics. Upgraded brakes boast eye-catching blue or red brake calipers. You can now get inside the vehicle with the Smart Keyless Entry feature and adjust your seating position with driver lumbar support.

Inside the tech-laden cabin, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is standard. So is a larger 12.3-inch central touchscreen with navigation. Owners can open the available panoramic sunroof to enjoy blue skies or stars above. Unique M badging and interior styling elements remind you this X3 means business.

Representing the Motorsport pedigree of BMW, the X3 M is the highest performance variant made for track-inspired driving. This speed machine handles like a sports car and accelerates like one too.

Its heart is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine. Opting for the available Competition package bumps those figures up to 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft for neck-snapping acceleration. In Drift Mode, you can configure the X3 M to send all power to the rear wheels only and hang the tail out around corners. Quad polished exhaust tips are integrated neatly into the rear bumper.
