Performance

While a few improvements were introduced in the 2025 model year, the X7’s capabilities are unchanged. This SUV is offered with two trim levels that have distinctive engineering. The X7 xDrive40i comes with an inline-six, turbo 3.0-liter engine. The X7 M60i is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 523 horsepower to you. These engines continue to have all-wheel drive, a self-leveling suspension system, and an eight-speed automatic transmission for the 2025 model year. The top trim level also has rear-wheel steering and a sports exhaust system.

Appearance

The bold, regal design of the BMW X7 holds steady between the 2024 and 2025 model years. This large SUV is established with a tall profile and crisp side accents. In between the crisp creases, a deep indentation adds personality. At the front, the air vents also have an indented quality with crisp angles. The narrow grille is surrounded by a chrome bar. The X7’s headlights are slender with angled, segmented LED bars.

Features

The most significant update introduced in the 2025 BMW X7 is the newly available Driving Assistance Professional Package. With this system, you can take advantage of hands-free driving up to 85 miles per hour in certain driving conditions. This equipment also comes with eye-activated lane-changing assistance. Additional features are available in the 2025 X7, which continues the previous version.
