Performance

Two trim levels and engines are available for the 2024 BMW X3. The sDrive30i comes with a 248-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. The M40i has a mild-hybrid V6, 3.0-liter engine with 382 horsepower. In comparison, the 2024 BMW X4 is available with these same powertrains. However, the X3’s base engine has front-wheel drive. The top X3 trim and both X4 trims have all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The 2024 BMW X3 has an elegant facade, a tall, arched roof, and a long, defined hood. Upper and lower accent lines are deeply defined on the sides. At the front, the chrome-outlined grille, the streamlined headlights, the bumper, and the large air intakes all have a curved look that makes a memorable impression. The 2024 X4, on the other hand, has a fastback-style roof with a steeply raked rear. The sides have three distinctive, linear accents and an angled air vent near the front fender. At the front, the short, narrow grille angles upward to create a point on the sides. The bumper and air vents are smaller than those on the X3 and have a pointed design. The LED headlights are slightly rounder.
