The 2024 BMW X1 is offered with two powertrains. The xDrive28i version comes with a 241-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine. The M35i xDrive features a sport-tuned version of that engine that produces 312 horsepower. All X1 trims have all-wheel drive, a dual-clutch, and an auto seven-speed transmission. The 2024 BMW X3 has three available trims. The sDrive30i and the xDrive30i have a 248-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine. The M40i has a 382-horsepower, mild-hybrid V6, 3.0-liter engine. Both systems come with an eight-speed auto transmission. The entry-level trim has rear-wheel drive, while the other trims have standard all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The smaller BMW X1 is distinguished by its upright, arched roofline and a short, subtly defined hood. The sides show off modestly accented fenders and a deep, angled accent on the door panels. At the front, the X1 is styled with a short, kidney-like grille, a tall bumper, and bold, L-shaped air vents. The headlights add a standout touch with bent LED bars as accents. The 2024 X3 is slightly longer, with an upper-definition line running over the door panels. The front end boasts a larger chrome grille and a smaller bumper. The headlights have C-shaped LED ribbons, and the air intakes are more pronounced.
