Appearance

Both the 2022 BMW X3 and the Audi Q5 are mid-generation vehicles. However, the X3 shows off a refreshed exterior with a new look for the front and rear facades. This modernized styling reflects a two-part, bar-style grille and scalloped LED headlights. The profile is elegant, and the streaming contours on the sides highlight the X3’s athleticism. The Q5 is available with a Black Optics package as an option for the first time in 2022. All other aspects of the Q5 are comparable to its preceding version. A grid-style grille and chunky consume the nose LED headlights. Both the hood and side panels have pinstripe definition. The roofline rakes sharply downward across the liftgate.
