Performance
The 2022 i4 is a new addition to the BMW lineup, and it is available in two trim levels. With an electric motor mounted at the rear, the sedan receives 335 horsepower. The dual-motor option has all-wheel drive. Its standard output is 469, or you can engage in Sport Boost mode to enjoy 536 horsepower. The latter powertrain system has a 301-mile range. The i7 sedan is introduced as a 2023 model, and it is exclusively offered with two motors and all-wheel drive. The engine generates 536 horsepower and its acceleration time to 60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds. The i7 has a range of 300 miles.
Appearance
The i4 is a sleek, four-door model with graceful flow through its tapered profile. The sides have a lower-front air vent that fades outward into solid contours. These smooth contours run across the entire length of the side doors. The nose has a tall, sectioned grille with a smooth surface. Tall air intakes accompany the black, lower-front fascia on the sides. Angled, double-elemental headlights complete the façade’s design. The i7 is a larger model with comparable sleekness from front to rear. The grille is similar to the i4’s grille. The headlights are thinner, and the front air intake vents are elevated directly underneath the headlights. You will find a well-defined lower accent bar and smoothly rounded definition through the doors on the sides.
Features
Both the i4 and the i7 offer a great selection of similar features. These include a premium audio system, wireless smartphone charging, a heads-up display, automated steering, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automated parking, heated front seats, wireless smartphone connectivity, etc. The i7 adds a few additional features, including highway assist and a 31-inch entertainment system screen in the second row. This 8k screen offers Amazon Fire TV.
