What’s New for the 2023 BMW M2?
The powerful BMW M2 has been completely redesigned in 2023, and it packs a more powerful punch behind the wheel. This two-door sports coupe is an M version of the 2 Series, and it now comes with a 453-horsepower, turbo six-cylinder engine. Its upgraded engineering also includes a standard six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. Adaptive suspension dampers have also been added in 2023, and the three suspension modes offered in 2022 continue to be available. There are also ten stability control modes. The longer wheelbase and reinforced chassis also directly improve the M2’s performance.
The M2’s exterior also benefits from a brilliant refresh. From its arched hood and low ground clearance to its side rocker panels and flared back haunches, the 2023 M2 exudes power from every angle. At the front, the 2023 M2 has a redesigned version of BMW’s classic kidney grille. The new look features separated grille sections with a flat top and flat interior lines. The headlights stand out with their small bulb underscored by a U-shaped LED headlight. The lower air vents are remarkably molded and have a premium, rectangular shape. At the rear, the truck lid has an athletic spoiler. The headlights have an upside-down, U-shaped LED bar. Below the taillights, vertical LED bars stand tall.
Inside the 2023 BMW M2, you will find a high-end, tech-laden cabin with sports seats. These perforated leather seats are heated and powered and designed with head restraints. The dashboard, including the driver’s instrumentation panel and the infotainment system screen, is completely digitalized. They connect in a cohesive, curved glass housing. The next-gen iDrive eight infotainment system includes voice controls via the Intelligent Personal Assistant. Numerous safety technologies include lane departure warning, auto emergency braking, parking sensors at the front and rear, and forward collision warning.
